TrustSolutions works with other Medicare contractors that are also known as Affiliated Contractors (AC), or Medicare Administrative Contractors (MAC). National Government Services (NGS), Palmetto GBA, LLC, and Wisconsin Physicians Service (WPS), and are considered an AC or MAC, to TrustSolutions, because our organizations work closely to coordinate efforts in order to best service our mutual customers.

While TrustSolutions is responsible for benefit integrity activities in jurisdictional areas, Medicare operational activities, such as claims processing, customer service, provider education, as well as some Medicare program integrity activities, like Medical Review, and Reimbursement, are performed by NGS, Palmetto, and WPS staff.

• The PSC, TrustSolutions, LLC will be accountable for reducing fraud and abuse in the Medicare program; and
• The Medicare Intermediaries, Carriers, and MACs, will be responsible for reducing the Medicare fee-for-service claims payment error rate.
