If you suspect potential Medicare fraud, there are a number of ways you can handle a concern:
:
1.  If after reviewing your Medicare Summary Notice (MSN) you have a concern with the billing, you can contact the provider of service directly for clarification.

2. You can call the Medicare toll-free number at 1-800-MEDICARE (1-800-633-4227).

3. Additional information regarding suspected Medicare Fraud is available to you from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) at: www.Medicare.gov/fraudabuse/howtoreport.asp.

4. You can seek assistance through your local Senior Medicare Patrol Project, a Medicare advocacy program sponsored by the Administration on Aging. A list for the office in your area can be found on the Administration on Aging website at www.aoa.gov.
